Antiburns list sounds about right. I dont know about the seats completly, My dad had a e46 330ci before he had his m3, I remember them being about the same in the back, maybe a little more bolstered. But the fronts were definitly sportier seats.

Did your dads car possibly have a sport package on it? Because if it did they should come witht he same seats. If the car doesnt have sport package the difference is the M seats have larger abdominal supports and also the larger ass supports, Whatever there correct name is you get the point.
But the back seats in 325, 330 and M3 are the same. Only the fronts are diff.
