Passenger side AC hotter than drivers side
Very hot outside here in san antonio, when a/c is on the drivers side a/c gets ice cold, but the passenger side is hot. heres the kicker, if i park in shade all day both sides cool off, but direct sunlight all day at work and the pass. air takes for ever to cool off a little bit. i dont get it. i dont have dual climate control its a 2004 330xi???????????? The refrigerant goes through the evaporator sideways. The first hint that you are low on refrigerant is that the downstream side of the evaporator will not be as cold as the the upstream side. These units are VERY sensitive to the amount of refrigerant they contain, so it may take only a fraction of a pound to get the system back in order. |
