Tragedy strikes
So some of you may remember my post about the damn pot hole I hit last week. Anyways, my car is not safe to drive on the highway and I was planning on going about 2 hours north this weekend so I needed a car. I asked my sister if I could use her car and she could use mine (but not on the highway). She agrees so I used her little SLK convertible b/c she said she probably wouldn't even need a car for the weekend. Once I got back from my trip, she hands over the keys for my car and starts to tear up She's all, "I took your car once to the mall and when I was adjusting the mirror I burnt the cloth piece above the window. I am wicked sorry "
You can imagine my reaction Why the fuck are you smoking butts in my car in the first place? Stupid bitch
She claims that she is willing to pay to replace the piece and to pay for the installment, but who knows if she ever will or not. I have a feeling it is going to be at least $300 b/c anytime the bimmer needs something it is always at least $300.
I apologize for venting here but at least I know you all would get as pissed as I did over something like that. Anyone else have any horror stories about letting others use your car?
I hear that! I'd be wicked upset too! So far I have lucked out at loaning out my car with the Well it is a 5 speed bail out *whew*
it can be a damn pain though - go out drinkin and be like ok someone else needs to drive - which they all agreed too - then go OH I can't drive a stick
hahha, there is this show i listen to sometimes on the radio, its called cartalk, and the guys are freakin hilarious (both MIT and Harvard grads), they were telling a story, the guy had just put a new clutch in his car,w hen his friend walks in, can i borrow your car, its stickshift, oh thats fine i can drive it! he leaves, and then when eh comes back, he says "i got the hang of it!, just one problem, the thing started to smell after a while!" lol he burnt his clutch again
