that sucks man, retarted. i let my bro borrow my car once for a few days when i was gone, after making him promise he wouldn't haus it. then later i found out he did and almost took it over a curb while takin a hard 40 degree corner at 40mph. I was pissed, but not for long cause he also put intake in it while i was gone.

Pity you're not a hickabilly - then you could get her to pay in kind sister or not.
Really though, that sort of thing pisses me off, I find it disrespectful that she damaged your car, but at least she had the grace to apologise and offer to pay for it - so she can't be all that bad eh!

She is a good sister for offering. I had my dad order the part an it is only $30, thank god. I am going to look for a DIY to replace it so I don't have to bring it to BMW. I also told her that we could just split the cost b/c she was nice enough to let me use her car. My initial reaction was to have her pay for it all b/c I was so pissed, but now that I have calmed down, I am more rational.
If anyone knows of a DIY to replace the cloth piece coming down the pillar along the windshield on 2000 e46 323ci please post up a link. Thanks in advance.
When I had my internship last year at a BMW dealership I watched the tech put that piece in. It looked very simple. I can't recall exact steps so I won't attempt to write up a DIY, but I don't think you will have any problem putting it in granted you have some simple directions to follow.
Glad to hear that it was so cheap
