Fog light options for '04 e46
 

I like the fog lights on my e36s. In dense fog, I turn on just the fog lights and the parking lights for optimal vision. The lights shoot a very wide beam that illuminates the edges of the road, and shoot a low beam fairly far ahead of the car with minimum glare.

These little round fog lights on the '04 e46s shoot a fairly flat beam, but it is no where near adequate to drive by.

Has anyone found a good aftermarket fog light that works on these cars? Does it fit in that little round hole or will I need to cut the bumper? I am OK with cutting the bumper if I can make it look clean.

Afterthought:

The wife's '04 330 has a different style bumper with slightly larger fog lights that mount flush with the bumper face rather than recessed in little holes. They are perhaps a little better, but not good enough to make me consider modifying the 325 to accept 330 lights.
