Elictric window

Hi im new with few problems.How do i remove the front door cover of a bmw 318i e46 2003 model. I also have a heater problem, only blows hot air even on the coldest setting. Wher do i find my hooter since i bougt it it was not working.

as for the door panel pull of the trim at the top of the door 3-4 torq screws there pull off the side view mirror switch at the top of the door handle with the screw under it and the 2 plugs and screws on the bottom of the arm rest and off it comes.

as for the heat this may sound silly but there it a hot cold dial on the center vent or well there should be make sure its not turned only to the hot or cold setting and move it to where you want it to be

also , if your car has side air bags on the door Make sure to disconnect the battery. Try youtube.com for a diy. GL

If your problem with the electric window is the usual broken connection to the cable, a couple of zip ties make it stronger than original and take only a few minutes to put on. I fixed my 2004 with two zip ties several years ago and it is still working perfectly.

If you unplug your air bag, do not connect the battery and turn the key on to test the window while the air bag is unplugged. DAMHIK

As far as the "hooter" is concerned generally that refers to the cyclone separator underneath the air intake on the engine (fancy name for pcv)
