Your Ride: 2001 325i
2001 325 engine cutout, help...
Hoping someone has resolved this issue… My 01 325i e46/m54 stalled out on the freeway yesterday, acted like I ran out of fuel. I had over a half tank so it was not lack of fuel.
Engine would turn over for a second then quit. I checked all vacuum hoses and air boot after the MAF all were good. I had a fuel filter/ regulator in the trunk, so I changed it. Then re-primed the fuel system, and no luck. I have spark, fuel , and air. I even replaced the MAF, and plugs. What ever is fouled out all six spark plugs (six weeks old).
Codes:
P0102- MAF Sensor Circuit Low Input
P0171- Fuel System Too Lean (Cylinder Bank 1)
P0174- Fuel System Too Lean (Cylinder Bank 2)
P1083- Fuel control limit mixture too lean (Cylinder Bank 1)
P1085- Fuel control limit mixture too lean (Cylinder Bank 2)
Man, I am at a loss… Any help would be appreciated, Thanks…

Reason: series info
have you checked your fuel pump mine died on me a while back I didn't have it scanned just towed it to the shop it would turn over run for a sec then die for some reason the shop told me the e46 build pressure in the tank or lines so it will still start but then die even when the pump is dead
