2001 bmw 3.25i please help with problem

Takes longer to start, and idles BAD. When accelerating it feels like I have about half the power, and rpms jump and stop without being smooth.

I ran a scan and the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors showed up.

What makes it complicated is when it first started doing this the abs light came on as well. So i dont know if the problems are connected or not.

I changed both sensors, but im still having the problem.

The camshaft sensor code isnt showing up anymore, but the crankshaft is still showing. I erased the codes after changing and it popped back it up.

I didnt know if someone knew of something that could trigger the abs with the crankshaft code, or is it just a weird coincidence.

Hopefully someone has had a similar problem, or a good idea of how to fix it without giving the dealer thousands of dollars.

Aftermarket sensors can be bad right out of the box, or you have a wiring issue. Start there. The ABS with the crank could just be a fluke or there's a wiring problem and they're in the same harness. Trace it, track it and see what you find.
