transmission will not upshift
 

Hi All,

my car is 330i 2001 with automatic transmission and the problem with my transmission is if I increase my speed the car stays in same gear and the rpm increases but the transmission will not shift up (only from 3rd to 4th gaer) then I go to manual and put it in 4th my self (smoth manual shift). other gears are fine and smoth and car upshift from 3rd to 4th at low speeds and RPMs!

any body ever had this same problem? and how did you solve it?

I'd take it for a scan, could be in a limp mode.

the car is free of errors but what do you mean by limp mode?

Hi, my car is a 2000 328i the automatic transmission is in sport mode i dont hear the gear chage the just keeps moving when its on drive.

anybody ever had this problem?
