316i Water loss
 

Hi can anybody help I have a water coolant loss from my W reg 2000 1.9 petrol 316i via the exhaust when the engine is cold,when it warms up the water loss stops,it is not mixing with the oil or boiling away,the loss is only about half a ltr,it does not affect the starting or running still drives as it should.

If you get coolant out of the exhaust - head gasket failure.
