Weird problem with door and car
 

Hi everyone, it's been a while :)

I recently have this bizarre issue with my car, if either front door is closed softly (but completely) then upon switching the car's engine on the entire car just dies out completely! Then you hear some bubbly sound coming off the centre area under the bonnet.

To resolve this issue I open my door (driver door) and close it firmly for the car to come back to life. This entire process results in the clock being reset (having to set it up again) and the mileage gets reset as well.

I'm not that good with cars you see so hence the "come back to life" terminology as opposed to whatever the correct term may be :o:

It's been about 2 months now that this issue has been occuring and have no idea what could the issue. Anyone else got a clue?

Loose battery connection or bad ground somewhere.

I'll be sure to bring that up to the guys attention at the BMW Service centre when I take my car in for a full service.
