335 mounts...
Just out of curiosity.. I know the 335i engine is pretty much the same engine as the 330 E46 engine... any idea if the motor mounts are the same? I was thinkin about trying a direct swap. |

Please explain how you think the 335 engine is pretty much the same, I'd have to disagree but I could be proven wrong...

As I understand it, the new engines for the E92 couldn't support the higher compression ratio of the forced induction (a material issue) so the 335i engine is an M54 (the E46 330 block) beefed up a little and turbo charged. I was really just hoping someone could prove this rumor true or false once and for all. |
