Tips for installing Expansion Tank?
Hi all, I'm trying to install my new expansion tank, it's not happening. I've pounded on it moderately with a rubber mallet, had two trying to push and support underneath the car as others have posted, and nothing. I can only get it so far. I have the mounting bracket and tank out, I've tried to install in off the car as well, hence the rubber mallet. I've also used lubricant, and it will only go so far. I have put so much force on it, I'm afraid the mounting bracket is going to break. Can anyone explain to me how in the hell this thing gets seated all the way down? I've read all related posts throughout other BMW forums and here, and have tried all techniques. I've attached a picture... I need some help please!!  |
