Been reading some threads about blower faults, now mine comes on & off even after engine is killed (sometimes drains the battery flat out) could it be the resistor like many threads point to?,if it is can anybody shed some light on where it is located & how to try and replace it?, PLEASE HELP!

Been away for a while but in that time i got to solve my problem, the blower resistor on my car(RHD) is located in the driver footwell under covers next to the left side leg. with the right tools it should take about an hour to replace, but be warned there is a bit of arkward bennding to be done, sorry i could not take pictures during the fix but it is easy, really.
