trouble code help
i've got a 2002 330i; have an intermittent fault code p0444, whicjh appears to be associated with the leak detection pump or the purge valve. seems to be OK at cold temps (cold for florida, anyway), happens more often when temp warms up (above 70-75 degress).
any thoughts on how to check whether it is the leak detection pump, or just the hose connections? where is the purge valve?

if it threw the code for that, then more then likely thats the part you need to change.
I tried to search Realoem.com for the part, but cannot find it. The e46 is fly by wire, so theres no throttle cable, so a thorttle position sensor..would almost seem pointless since its all intergrated in the electronics.
BUT.....anyone else?
