E Brake

I did it this time....while I was able to get the ebrake handle off to replace it with a chrome one from BMW, when I attempted to put on the chrome handle, it wouldn't go on so easy, so I used a rubber mallet at began tapping it on. It still wouldn't go on, so I began to hit a little harder it started going, but stopped again. Then I looked at the handle and it looked "different". As I studied it I realized I had bent it at the point where the long section branches out to the mounting section. Now when I release the brake it goes down and touches the center console. Anyone know if it is difficult to replace that whole assembly and the cost? Unfortunately the handle itself is riveted to the mount, so i can't just replace that part. Thanks to all you.
