Mobile Video Installed

I just finished installing a 7" In-dash DVD player and two custom mounted 7" headrest monitors in my 325ci. Did a whole lot of work with the audio wiring to get it to where it is. Anyone interested in seeing some pics. Let me know and I will post.

Man, post them.:agree I really believe everyone can learn from things others do.

Exilion 12-03-2007 03:38 PM

I'd hate to say it BUT WHY DID YOU MAKE THIS THREAD IF YOU WEREN'T GOING TO POST PICKS!!!!!! We wouldn't bother reading it if we weren't interested.

Bueras,

Thanks for the 411. The 19's are on and they look intense. The ride has changed though. The steering wheel feels heavier and not as steady compare to the stock 17's. Is this a common problem with larger rims? Caden

Caden,

Please see

and Exilion,

Your remark is dually noted in my "who gives a flying f**k" book. Sorry for wasting 3.25 seconds of your browsing time. Like I said, I will post pics over the weekend. Thanks for making me waste more space in this thread.

:rotfl Dude I was just joking. I guess it would've made more sense if you knew me in person. I just meant sounds like a cool project and I'd love to see it. I donno I didn't mean to sound like you wasted my time. It was more of a "of course we'd like to see it the project sounds awesome" type of deal.

^^pwned.

i want to see some pics.

Howd u fit theminto the head rests? those things are pretty small.

bueras 12-06-2007 01:10 PM

Numark318i,

It was pretty simple to get 7" monitors into the headrests. First you have to take the hardware part of the headrest and slide it out of the cover and foam. After that you take the foam out of the headrest cover and place it over the hardwear part. Next, fit the headrest monitor shroud over the foam and make the cut on the foam to fit the shroud only. Next you place the headrest cover over the hardware, foam, and shroud. Lastly, you cut in an "X" pattern about .5 inch from the shroud, cut the excess, fold in some of the headrest cover and place your monitor in the shroud.

Its pretty simple. It only take me about 5-10 minutes per headrest.

??? Hate to say it but that's where I got confused... I never saw the "will post this weekend" unless it was in another thread?

what the...

To the OP... Exilion is right, and he wasn't being hurtful at all. In fact, I was waiting and ready for someone to popst like he did, asking why you didn't post pics in the first place. If he didn't I would have. There was nothing mean about it. I know you are excited, but there is no sence in starting the thread if you have no pics readily availiable. I learned this lesson long ago, just as you have now. Don't take things so personally. You should be thankful that he wasn't being an a$$ on purpose! But you were in your quoting post to him!

You still havn't posted pics! Oh, and sorry to bring a pointless post back to life.

And to Numark who wrote pwned... I am just speechless...
