ok so i did the ohms test on coil packs all came out good
put in new plugs and still fowled out #2

Did you check for voltage at the ignition wire? Physically inspect the ignition harness as well- there are many documented cases of wire chafing or breakage on E36/46 models.
Plug is fowling? what does it look like?
no wire chafe or breakage that is visable bye eye
and wet gas really black
puled wireing off while running #1,2,and4 made no diffrence so my next ? is what would run just those cyl i.e. sensor or mod
On the M50 engine, the ignition wiring leads to thinner wires located inside a long plastic box sitting above the fuel rail. Inside this is where the chafing or breakage occurs. Not sure if the wiring is the same for your M52 engine, I think it would be the same. You didn't answer whether you checked for voltage at the plug harness.
Unburned fuel could mean a few things. Depending on your mileage, your fuel pressure regulator could be toast. Is the car losing power or stalling? Any smoke coming out of the rear pipes? If so, I wouldn't drive the car like that, or you'll damage the O2 sensors and/or the catalytic converter.
no test on wires not the sparky type guy and this is my first bmw
so i am try to learn as i go
i can fix just about any other car so not afraid just dont got the right tester,s yet
and not sure witch one to buy obd2 or bmw round
