hi Guys
Has anyone changed a exhaust manifold? is this easy?

just out of curiosity, how did you get a cracked exhaust manifold? Ive never heard of that happening...

His exhaust manifold was really really hot, then got really really cold really really fast.

cracked exhaust manifold?
What model is your car? The manifolds have the cats attached and they are expensive!! You sure its not a gasket problem?

well, I heard of this happening a lot before, though never on Bimmers,
mostly on new Peugeots/Renaults/Citroens and other sh*ts like that

Well before we start running down BMW's I have still to hear how many miles this car has and if its even the manifold/cats that are the problem.
Please don't compare a BMW to Peugeots/Renaults/Citroens because there is no comparison.

Hi i had a 1995 328 and the rear exhaust manifold cracked on that.
it was quite easy to change

IDT that Denyo was comparing a BMW to those cars. He just stated that he has seen them get cracked on some other cars.
I saw a 325i here at Hockenheim and he cracked his headers at the flange. and the engine wasn't even that warm.

I really don't think it matters what kinda car it is
they just cant make the parts the same every time some times there is just a bad one no matter how good the inspection is
