New Project! Revamping the interior trim!
Okay so after the success I had with my intake I was looking for another fun little project and I decided I was sick and tired of my old wood interior trim.
It had many chips and cracks :thud it looked dead. So I went online and checked out some trim hum ho hum..dum de dee... Ooo black Carbon fiber e46 interior trim! That might look good! Lets see its uhhh 780 dollars... WHAAAAAA??? WTF is that shit created by the gods? How do they justify charging that much for some slivers of carbon fiber? Great googley boogely! So I think, well carbon fiber is expensive I'll check out some aluminum... ooo here is some brushed aluminum, for 850 dollars... :jawdrop Okay this was getting ridiculous. So naturally I said f*** that to the online trim and decided to DIY. Results to come. It won't be carbon fiber but it will look a lot better and sportier than wood thats for sure. |
A project! Hope it's fun and good luck :thumbup

Hey man, if you're looking for things to do, come up to Jersey . . I got fuel injectors that need to be installed, parking brake pads that need replcing, and a sound system that needs rewiring. People out there looking for projects to do, and over here I can't stop the work from coming :doh

I think you could take the trim to a metal shop and have them cut it out of anything you want on a water jet table for half of that. I have been thinking about doing the same for a 928 Porsche due to missing trim. I would definitly like to see you results.
