Keys Locked in the Trunk 2000 323, Any Ideas?

There are locksmiths with a tool that can get into bmw cars. It is slick. I would call around and ask them. $300 is what a key costs when it has the chip in the key. The tool is an electronic "gizmo" that works awesome.

I will most def i call around! I had already called a few and they wouldnt promise me no damage to the car itselft, and i wasnt going to take that risk! Do you know what the cost to have a "bmw" locksmith come out?

I just got a new key with the built in remote from BMW for $125.

You can also have them make one of the pocket wallet (plastic) keys using your Vin#. I can't see them charging more than $25 for it as a standard non-remote key is only like 50 or 60.

Yeah, I have two remote keys and a plastic wallet key. If I ever lock my keys in. Did you only get 1 key with the car?

I locked the keys in the while loading a few boxes in there.

The prices at the local dealership were $100 for the plastic key and $257 for the remote key. Special order 7-14 days.

I had a BMW/ MB locksmith come out and charge me $60

Yes I only got one key when i got the car. Great deal on it!

My friend had all her keys for her new 07 X5 locked in her trunk. She needed to get important document out and no dealership can open it or AAA. SHe needed to pay $300 for a key and it takes 3 days to get it.

AFTER OUR HARD SEARCH WE FOUND person who could open it for $200. IT WAS PERFECT! no damage to our car and it took nearly less than 20 min. I thought i would share it with you guys. Call them at 626 241 4588! These new BMW are extremely hard to open because of their doublelock system.

So if you need it in Southern California , call that number they can help u!

oh, and in the X5, if you had the keys locked in the trunk, then you can just climb to the trunk from the cabin. retard

How can you climb from the cabin if she locked herself out of the car? There is no way of getting in if every door is locked. And no that is not my number!

she was going to take all the keys to the dealer to get it programmed since its a new car.. So she stuffed all the keys in the purse... her car has comfort access and she thought it won't lock the keys inside if the purse is inside.. WELL SHE WAS wrong! once she closed the trunk door, the entire car locked itself. I don't know if thats a cliche or it suppose to to be like that.. but she had no one of getting in

so she bought an 07 and the key fobs werent programmed? man, i thought BMWs came with their keys programmed to the car already!
