Update on my wheels
So... my wheels were supposed to arrive yesterday going by fedex.
But yesterday morning, I get an e-mail from the vendor...

thanks,

"Hope all is well?" You just told me you messed up my order..... how can all be well???
So I respond....

I wasn't even sure that +35 offest on the 9.5 wheels with 255/35/18 would work until you said it would.
But eihter way, Fedex said the wheels would come today and I haven't seen anything.
And also, what do you plan on doing about this mistake?
|
So, at this point at kinda ticked off, was hoping to get the wheels in JUST on time and make it to the meet with them...
So, he responds this morning with...

+35 would work but our inventory computer has not been updated in 1 day, which makes a big differnce. We do not have any more 18" high offset rims for your car at them moment as far as ruff racing. I have a really cool set i can replace it with, the 279s 19s staggered in chrome, which normally look the best on bmws and i have in the +40 offset for the rear so you should have no rubbing issues. I can do the 280s in the same setup in chrome also, I can also do the 280s in titanium which would probably be the set you would go with. I can also do the 279s in hyperblack 19s +35 front which is perfect and +40 rear. This would look the best in the same finish you wanted the other ones.
Please let me know if i can help you out with this.
Thanks again,
|
: So... you messed up my order and now "none are left" ? Sounds like you’re trying to make quick buck from me.... Humm... NO.... And on top of that... CHROME.... are you out of your mind!!!!!
So... I reply...

Now, what's fishy to me is that I checked Fedex today and it no longer gives me an estimated arrival time... It just doesn't say anything....
So, as soon as he responds, I'll ask him for a full refund and take my $ somewhere else....

Man, get your cash back . They don't deserve your buisness and they should refund your cash since they never delivered as promised or stated.
If they don't, there should be other recourses that you can go with so they learn to treat customers right and honestly.

If you are having any trouble getting the money back call your credit card and stop the charges.

Well that's good to hear. If you don't get the money back, like nick said, just reverse the charge. Hopefully you didn't use PayPal, because that can take time to resolve the dispute if he doesn't send the payment back your way.

Rooz,
I think these wheels that Turner Motorsports is selling would look very nice on your car. Would the 47mm Front (18x8.0) / 50mm Rear (18x8.5) offset work?

Really? On a BMW? I can see it on a lowered 93 Isuzu truck or a 74 Cadillac, but a BMW? C'mon!
