Door Lock Problems passenger side.
 

So..took the car to a doctors appointment today. The passenger door handle stopped opening the door. Doesnt matter if you unlock, lock or even have the door half way open(latched) it still wont open the door.

I heard a poping noise when i opened the window while driving. symptoms stated above ocured after.

can anyone explain this? The handle isnt doing anything except being limp and not opening the door.


2001 330ci coupe. Everything else in the locking system works fine. will this be easy to fix? How hard is it to remove the door panels? Clips?


any input would be nice.
