RSM failure question Real quick

Ok so For christmas Im getting car stuff done. the RSM failure.....like how you need to replace the ....something to prevent it. some kinda bushing? what is it, and where can i order it from. Im gonan order it with the z3 reinforcement plates to jsut in case since their cheap.

also plus tie rod ends and lower control ARM (right one)

Im guessing rear Shock mount. rear subframe bushing, and RTAB

I just wanna do preventative maitinence for the RSM failure

and exactly where do the reinforcement z3 plates go?

does anyone have like a DIY or something.? or something

The upgrade as far as OEM parts goes is (I believe) the Z3 reinforcement plates along with the e46 shock mounts. I went the easy way and got the RSM's from Rogue Engineering (no reinforcement plates needed). As far as installation, it's really easy. Just remove trunk carpeting, jack up the car, pull out the old shock mounts, throw the new ones on. The Rogue ones come with instructions and a diagram.

I have heard great things about rogue RSMs. Also, here is a guide on how to install them- should tell you what order everything goes in.

Thanks death.

the stock ones die instantly, youve got to do some kind of upgrade if you want them to last.

e46 ones are better, but there are alot of different options out there.
