Let the modding begin!!

Christmas break starts thursday for me and I've got a list of things I'm going to do to my almost stock '97 328is 5-speed.

Already Have:
- M3 Bumper
- Bosch Ellipsoids
- Upgraded audio system

In Process:
- ASC Delete
- M50 Manifold
- Cosmos V1 or V2 intake (I have both and will decide which sounds better)

Christmas Presents:
- Bilstein shocks and H&R sport springs
- Shark Injector or S52 cams without software
- Understeer budget short shifter
- 25% or 30% window tint

I may not get the tint, cams, or software and get a set of used M3 wheels or some ASA AR1 wheels.

What do you guys think? Can I do it!!

I think my parents will give me about $300 and the girlfriend is good for $125. The rest is my own money for the mods I want.

Can't wait to give my impressions of the M50 manifold swap this weekend! Driving my other car for a week while I wait for a part has led me to really appreciate the power of my M52 engine. My second car only has a bit over 100 hp!

Have fun, that was like my last summer. I only wish I had another car, it would have made it so much easier.

Wait a minute. Since it is Christmas....if your gf dishes out $125, what do you have to dish out??? If it were my gf, if she dished out that much, I'd have to dish the same or double. But no worries, diamonds are expensive and my way of expressing my love.

Might want to go with the software over the cams. Those are hard to remove with out breaking. http://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/tech...ft-removal.htm

Finished the M50 and cosmos install. Car pulls harder and makes some sexy noises! I'll report back after the computer makes the adjustment it needs too over the next day or two.

go for the cams and not the software. if you do software now and cams later you will want to upgrade to cam software... why buy it twice

if you have any kind of know how doing the cams is really not that bad.
