I drive a 96 328i sport and im just lovin it and the car itself is a true bimmer. thing is it's all stock except the 2 JL 10" audio subs, alpine 6x9s, and the alpine deck.

Thing is I dont want it stock I want to upgrade it.
Does anyone know on any good e36 328i upgrades ie racing chips, exhaust, intake, turbo. . . etc. Also, any good site to check this stuff out at?

A good place to start is www.BAVauto.com -they're not cheap but they have a pretty good assortment. There's also Pelican Parts & dozens others - try a "google" search

I thought at one time we were compiling a list of places to buy parts from in a thread but I can't find it, can anyone confirm or deny this? There are a lot of things to do to an e36, what do you want to do.

A lot of people will do chips/reprograms, intake, exhaust, suspension, short shift, wheels/tires, brake pad/fluid upgrade, big brake kid. there are also more serious upgrades out there depending on the cash you want to drop and what you want to get done. give us some ideas and im sure someone can give you some good suggestions.

Active Autowerke for FI. www.aatuning.com. I am planning on getting their supercharger kit, it's a pretty damn good deal.

As for suspension, many people go with the Koni SA (sport adjustable) shocks and H&R Sport springs. You can find these on Tirerack.com I believe. Also, when upgrading your suspension, you want to look at all the components as well, such as RTABs, RTAB shims, CABs, RSMs, etc. Based on my knowledge, some good RTABs are the ground control ones, and a kit including shims can be found here: http://www.mpactmotorsports.com/cata...168148dbc23cff
