Oil Question

Greetings gang! :-) I've been kind of busy lately (well, not KIND OF busy but farking busy as all you know what!). Hope all is well. :-D

Question - for those of you who use your bimmer as a daily driver under conditions similar to Florida - what kind of oil do you use in your B? Thanks in advance.

BMW mechanic recommends:
after production date of 1995, you can go synthetic, before that, stick to normal motor oil.
