AC Shnitzer...

heres a n00b question for you guys...

I've owned my 325i AC Shnitzer for a week now, its fucken fast as hell but i have no real clue what makes a shnitzer different from a stock other than the body kit.

heaps of ppl tell me different things?

so seeing as you guys no your e36's

Whats in an AC Shnitzer bmw?

Thanks.

Warren

AC Schnitzer is just a tuner. They don't sell cars like Alpina does. What tells you that you have an ACS 325i?

ACS makes all kinds of accesories for BMWs. WHat your car has on it depends exclusively on what ACS mods the previous owner(s) have put on the car. The body kit would be an obvious one, but you may have a short shifter, exhaust, or any of several other things.

I wouldn't call your car an ACS BMW. I would call it a BMW with ACS mods.

Welcome to BMW ownership, by the way

it has a acs bodykit, and it has the logo by the front wheels. i was curious to know if shnitzer had a package, because this car is faster than a standard 325i.

exhaust is an msport from what the previous owner told me, but even he got the car like it is, all he added was the bilstein and the msport muffler.

Pics? The onyl ACS Car that ACS built was the CLS. It's a widebody e36. Has 3 racing seats (2 frotn, 1 back). Has a stack cluster. Everythings CF basically. You dont have one. You may have a car with AC Schnitzer mods. Maybe the add on lip spoilers and apron. Wheels. Some badges. Maybe some pedals. Any pics?

AC Schnitzer only made body kits and specially tuned....for e46, e90, and e91. None of which you have. Soooo, you must have add on AC Schnitzer mods. Which totally doesn't make it an "official" AC Schnitzer tuned car.

See for yourself.

ok ok, so it sounds like its not official acs, but i dont realy have pics yet. there is one that i took with my cellphone so the quality isnt perfect.

I was looking at some other BMW's in the carpark the otherday, and i could have sworn the front spoilers looked the same as mine, and so did the side and rear, so really besides the effing stickers what is acs in my car? i do know it's faster than other 325i's

Hmm... Looks like a 325i with wheels and an ACS badge on the side.

lol a 325i with wheels? as opposed to without?

It does go faster than a standard 325 so maybe something has been done somewhere else?

i would consider taking the acs pinstriping off but all those years, you could prolly see the difference on the paintjob so its staying until i change the bmw's colour.

Well thanks guys for helping me find out more...

I meant with aftermarket wheels. Anyway, is there an intake on it? If you can't see any visual difference, maybe it just has a chip or something if it actually is faster than a "regular" 325.
