E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
Well its that time of year. I woke up and there were 3inches of snow on the ground. So my summer performance tires are kinda useless.
So i need help in figuring out what are the best snow tires i can put on my stock 15" rims. I dont care bout price as long as they work.I dont know what the tire size is cause im at work but Dudskey probably does.
Now as well i need snow tries for my GMC Jimmy. We did a few too many burnouts and now the tires are bald. Now again i dunno the tire size but i need somethng damm good. Thanks

Are you planning on driving your ride for the winter??
get hakkapeliitta tires. developed in sweden or somewhere around there specifically for handling in the snow. they have sipes which are useful in snow and ice.

All seasons wont work?
I dont have all seasons, nor do i want them. i only have BF Goodirch drag radials (the ones on the SRT-4), it sucks cause snow gets compacted in the grooves and turns em into racing slicks
i know the swedish ones that are the for those ppl in the saab world are called "geslaved" ice tires, those are really expensive, imported from sweden only, also, Nordman is an amazing tire i have only seen on audis
