help needed urgently please..

hey there, i have a very imp. Q..
im planning to buy a 1999 bmw 328i convertible, but i havent seen it yet, i just wanted to know, b4 deciding to go to see it (its very far) wether its E36 or E46??
so i just want to know if a 1999 328i convertible can be an E36 model..

Yup. I believe convertible E36 is the 1996 - 1999

in 1999, they made both e36 and e46s, but i think in terms of convertibles it was only the e36

yea its an e36 like the others said, each new 3 series model coupe, and convertable take a little longer to get out there then the sedans when they introduce a new product.
