Where are sensors, how to test 'em
Wondering if I have a sensor problem, possibly disabling engine spark and current to my fuel pump. Can someone tell me where the sensors are that could cause this; ie. crank, impact.
Thanks,
Garry
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
if your not getting current to your fuel pump, its probably not a sensor, the car doesnt sense whether or not to send fuel, it always sends fuel when its on, so i would check a fuse or a relay, however if you are getting fuel but not in the right amounts, i would suggest mass airflow sensor, throttle position sensor... etc, and if you arent getting a spark, i would check the coils, if you arent getting either i would check the ECU

Got it running again. Swapped an ECU with my chip in it, but still wasn't working, then noticed aftermarket relay humming when key was off and doing nothing when on. Apparently 2 poles were reversed. Got the right relay and I'm on the road again. Thanks for replies.
