I haven't done any myself, but I've heard an aftermarket steering wheel is very helpful if you're autox'ing. Momo makes good ones, but be careful because some of their wheels border on rice.

No, i'm talking about the "Ground kit" that supposedly gives you a better throttle response, added fuel milage, brighter headlights, reduced radio noice, reduced emissions, and supposedly adds hp (5-8 hps) i don't know how true that is, but I do know it does all the rest.

How about the catch can, has anyone done that?

it's a bunch of 10 gauge cable that extends from your battery ground onto lets say, body, transmission, intake manifold...

Forget it! I'll find a way to do it and I'll show you what I'm talking about.... I had done it on my other car and it does what i said... the reason I was asking is because this time around the battery is at a different place, but thank you for your intelligent opinion...

grounding in a bimmer doesn't do a thing man and it probably doesn't do anything in any other car.

steering wheels are easy to install, but you better be ready to pull out that airbag bulb while you're at it because it'll set it off (I think it's the SRS light) and stay on right in your face!!!

this kind of explains what it's supposed to do... basically sends more power to "electrical" components to help improve them.. not a good idea in a bimmer haha

waste of money....for $20 thats not alot to administer $1000 of dollars worth of potential damage to your car...heck I'll do it for free. But I don't see how a bunch of steel ground wires and plugs can turn your E36 into a rocket ship!

Anyway we all have our taste in mods and I've taken alot of abuse for my bias towards luxury/gadget mods
