Shocks Recommendations?
I checked the Suspension Forum and couldn't find what I was searching for, so I ask for some suggestions on replacement shocks, stiffer than original, but not interested in bladder buster hard. Driving style is not "spirited," but I do like some reassurance and a bit of an edge over the other guy (generally some jerk or punk who's trying to intimidate me) on turns and curves. Thanks.

my recomendation would be Bilstein Sport shocks, great replacement over OEM and sportier. And if you want to go all the way and lower it, a set of H&R sport springs provides a reasonable drop and great handling improvement.

bilstein sports may be stiffer than you want. you might want to try bilstein touring shocks. works with stock coil springs, and are 15% stiffer than the oem boge units. much cheaper than sports too.

Gents- Thanks for "steering" me in the right direction. I won't go so far as to engage in any lowering, but I want to "kick it up a notch (or two)" from OEM.

Thank you, putting it all together thus far I'll be checking those two out further to see what they have to offer and what I really want in terms of ride and handling.

I just put my Bilstein Tourings on a couple weeks ago. They're a completely stock feel. Kinda a waste in my opinion. Sounds like you want something stiffer than Touring, but not as stiff as Sports.

Thank you for your comment and the link, I went through everything, guess I might have to go "upper" in my upgrade... (Wish you had had better luck, though.)
