dudesky, i have a 94, and it doesn't have side markers, his car could be like mine with a late 93 build date. Mine was built 11/93.

That will be an awesome car, just make sure to check over all the bushings, etc. I had to overhaul some of mine. I just was lazy and waited about a year

Yes. Get the thing running right first, then go to town. I'd definitely get new wheels . . everytime I see those, I think to myself "what the hell was BMW thinking?!"

Aight guys, picked it up Friday and have been driving non-stop. I love this car! I will post pics later today, I'm lazy... The only thing is when I was driving it home, I tried to open the sunroof and heard a snapping sound, and now the sunroof only opens a little more than halfway, and doesn't tilt at all. Is there a DIY for this? I really hope I don't need a new cassette, because I heard those were BANK. Thanks all.

Just posted some pics on the first page. I actually kind of like the wheels for now. They are definitely growing on me.

I have exact same car, mines a 93 tho and LagunaGreen, Same wheels to. it's on my profile pic, and they thought my car was a 94, but urs is prolly like mine because 94 have sidemarkers, I like my wheels tho, they are a PITA to clean OMG the spokes are so close together. but ur's is prolly a lae 93, sadly my interier door panels are falling off, the material has shrunk away, anyone know a DIY for this, or do I have to buy all new door panels........ my passenger back one completely fell off. I've heard this is common for these years so b careful!

Yeah, I can tell that the door panels on my car had come off and then been re-glued. It's holding up pretty nice, they seem to have done a pretty good job.
