Just get it from http://www.grtpl8s.com/ the owner's name is Alex, tell him Rooz with the "!revO evoM" plate sent you and he'll hook it up for you.

PS: I just noticed, he has my plate on the front of his page :lol

i'm sorry, but will you please go in to a dmv and ask that??? but really, how would a United States DMV register a European plate?

no seriously, i work at the DMV in missouri. one lady asked me if the "year" sticker came in anything but black. it didn't match her car. she wanted a prettier color. (as reference, ALL year stickers are the same color i.e. 2007 stickers are black and 2008 ones are orange...) that happened about 3 months ago and i still giggle.

in short, no. don't do it.

i will assume you are using OEM mouldings on your front bumper, in which case you will need a mounting bracket that kind of encases the plate (which should be provided with purchase), and it just screws in.

and no, it doesnt register. and if your state requires both front and rear plates, then you can get a fix-it ticket if you get pulled over for something else.

Also you can use the strong double tape to stick it since you just bought the plate.

BTW why many of you Americans crazy about Euro plates?Be proud of your plate like me:D

^^^ b/c us plates look retarded.

Montizzle 325i 08-22-2006 12:40 PM

yeah us spec plates are damn ugly. but yeah i dont think imma get it because cops around me look for any reason to pull me over as it is. i can pretty much guarantee that they will end up bored one night and see the plate and then boom! lights on and the next thing i know that annoying ass spotlight is in all of my mirrors:ranting

^^^^ i've been pulled over 3 times with my euro plate on. haven't gotten a ticket for it yet! (and i only got a ticket one of the three times... 88 in a 70, following too close... good thing he didn't catch me a minute earlier, it would have been 110 in a 70)

Rooz 08-22-2006 05:10 PM

yeah, I've had euro plate for years never got anything bad from it ;)
