Very important, Alarm install, Shark injector, and custom fiberglass lip!?
GUYS, I decided to go all out. The guy i bought the m3 from just sent me his old shark injector he used on a different bimmer...he said it may work, it may not, so i got it for free so what the heck, ill try it. If anyone has done the OBD II shark install let me know
First thing second, I just got the factory alarm tonight from BMW of Bellevue (long story) and im going to install it then run it to the dealer for calibration and codes and stuff. has anyone done the factory alarm install, or have a really good website that explains the install?
Finally, one of my friends has made a few fiberglass sub enclosures and i think it would be sweet to mess around w/ fiberglass and try to make my own splitters or front lip...i am assuming it will be really hard. so any insight on that would be cool too.
thats all for now...oh windows are getting tinted on the 16th so im looking for suggestions to go with anywhere between 20%-35% PM or post pics of what you have. thanks again!! cya
I don't know if the injector would work, the alarm install shouldn't be to hard, and if you can make a fiber glass lip out of that, more power to you. Good luck.

Your Ride: Whatever I can get my hands on
Last I checked the shark injector is PERMANENTLY mated to the first car that it is used on by VIN number. so if he used it on a different car, its NOT going to work for yours. Says so clearly in the directions five or six times actually.

yeah, i seriously doubt the injector will work.
When you upload the new ECU maps from the injector to the ECU, the injector then copies the old ones originally on the ECU. Basically swapping codes, so you can switch back if you like.
So from that, you are probably just getting a ECU set-up for a stock M3, because he has already used it.
