Window Problem NEED help

ok so my car has been off the road the whole summer.

i'm finally almost done putting it back together and i just charged the battery and started her up yesterday. I rolled down both windows and was resetting them for the one touch up and down operation. well the passenger window works fine but the drivers side window is stuck in the down position.

i can hear the motor go on for like .2 seconds when i hit the button but there is no movement.

my window is currently stuck down and is haulting my whole project

any help would be appreciated.

THanks

oh I have an M3 born on 4/95

okay, i've done this twice now. you think i would learn....

anyway, you need to open and close the door and also pull the window up.
okay, that doesn't make any sense.
1-start on the outside of your car and close the door
2-watch the window roll up a 1/2"
3-pull the glass up
4-open door
5-close door
6-pull glass up
7-repeat

your problem is that when you disconected the battery, you may have left the driver window down and the car thinks that the window is "up".

hope that helps.
