Cleaning the engine bay (part 2)
I remembered i took off the air filter and the air duct that channels cool air to the alternator. The alternator was covered in half an inch of black dust/dirt and mud was everywhere. The rest of the car wasn't looking too good either.
Bla bla bla
When the engine was sparkling clean, started the engine expecting to hear that usual 'whir...squeak' noise. but there was none...
I thought this was a fluke so it has been 3 whole days since i have been driving the car and the noises have not returned. I'm gonna see what happens at the end of the week to check the pulleys from another mechanic. Makes you wonder indeed...

dats wat i thought. until we had a severe rainstorm here and now the mouse orchestra is back under my hood. figure i might get all the 3 pulleys changed. I'm postponing them since i don't feel any lack of power or otherwise from my car. just have to live with that squeaky sound for a while.
