Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

Ok, I changed my battery this afternoon. When I took it out, I noticed that the evap hose was not connected to the little hole so, it was a little wet under the battery, so I cleaned that up and sprayed some undercoat on that little square, put the new battery in, connected the evap hose to the battery and to the hole so the evaps would get out, and it's been working fine since....

My car wouldn't start again yesterday, so I took it to my dad's shop, and turns out I have a draw of power somewhere... I'll keep ya updated as I find out

that's weird dude. the reason i suggested the optima batteries is because they are known for their high quality and performance. all major car audio and electronics people put them in their car for the power and reliability they need.
hope you figure it out though

Well, things got worst. Turns out that my Starter is Bad, and that's what was causing both the draw of power, and the fact that thec ar wouldn't start. But good news is that since I know someone who works at bmw (friend of a friend) I can get a new one for $160 (And I would get $30 back for the core, so it would be $130). So, that pospones my plans on getting the ZKW's for a week or two...

Yeah sort that starter out before adding ZKW HIDs to the mix....Actually I've read somewhere that this is a common problem for 328 cars of the later E36 years; something having to do with the starter staying on after the car has been shut off and parked, thus draining the battery. It was on consumer reports buying guide.
OK, my dad's mech was working on getting the starter off all day today, still hasen't even gotten to the darn thing yet... hopefully he should be done tomorrow, am not complaining too much, I get to drive my mom's e39 540 while he does that
