E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of middle ground on whether people like it or hate it.
My son is happy with it, and we've got a blue one we can put on if he gets sick of it.
The install isn't perfect, but it's the first time i've ever done anything larger than pinstripe.
Let me know what ya think!
I think the red on blue throws a lot of people off, but it is a complimentary color.
I can see why some people don't like it, because it does really stand out. The red isn't quite as washed out as the pics show.
But if it fades to pink I'll bet my son will want it changed.
Thanks for the compliment, also!
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

Your Ride: Alpine White 1996 328i
I like it, but not in that color. I've actually seen that in black on an Apline White 328 and it was hot, but he was going for that "hey, look at me" look (which I'm not particularly fond of to begin with). Overall, I think it looks good, but I'd try a diff color (if available)
p.s. xsperf, I agree with you on the E90's... it'll take some time.
Also, Rooz, a black one of those would look fantastic on your car! (You and I have same color)

I like them but they'd look like shit on a saloon.
Robs car looks pretty good with his flag, I think. But his car looks pretty good overall, regardless.
That said, I have a black one I'm gonna put on my daughters sedan, which is Samara Beige. We're keeping all the mouldings black on her car, though, so I'm hoping it looks good. If it doesn't then it'll come off.
