Car Seat.

Well today I bring my car to an upholstery shop again. That day it was about replacing the B pillar but today is adding some sponge to the driver seat.

Below are the pictures. I think Pictures describe thousand words.

When getting out of the car I felt the metal frame in the seat. I guess the sponge inside is becoming to wear. I know it’s a matter of time the black leather will eventually tear up and can’t be fixed if I don’t care about it.As you can see from the picture, there's a hole in the sponge.

The man cut the sponge and replaced it with a new one.Pictures below

I know it does not match but who cares, since nobody can even see it

I know this thread is not a useful thread, but i'm bored.
Enjoy :

If I were to guess, you wear a wallet in your back right pants pocket? Take it out when you drive, or keep less money in it

Mike Miller from Bimmer mag gave this tip once to prevent bolster wear when entering and exiting your car. put your hand that closest to the door (in the US, its the left) overtop the bolster before you get out and get in, that way you will drag over your hand instead of the bolster.

he said it really works

Kind of odd you have that much wear considering the fact your car has VERY low miles on it....

I don't know rooz,

It seems the car has many problems now especially in the engine. AC Tensioner will go kaput. Have to change it soon.

The things that i’ve have change,
1) GAS PRESSURIZED SPRING- It won't hold up the engine hood,
2) Ac compressor
3) Ac centre vent
4) B pillar
5) The top carpet (not sure what’s it called), it’s falling off so replace with the new one.
6) Seats (Shown in pics)

I think it’s being garaged untouched for 8 years and a lot can go wrong. The car is only being used in 1997 and after 7000 miles it’s stored.
