Brake lights rewired- opinions please

So I jumped some wires to make use of the spare circuit in the tail lights, now they turn on to add more braking light. Question is, should I keep them that way . . what do you think, yay or nay?

What happens when you have your headlights ON at night?
Does your brake lights light up as well?

No. There's an unused trace circuit in the tail lights, I believe it's for the rear fogs on Euro spec cars. The bulb in that section is a dual filament, the second of which is unused. That's what I wired up. It's completely independent of any other lighting.

Yea xsperf, I'm not too crazy about the dim area between the two lit up. Guess I'll mull it over a few more days. I'd seen it done on a 318ti, and it looks good.

Yea, I can write one up, but as far as keeping them this way, I still don't know.

yea what would be cool is if you actually ran the wire through the car and made a switch for rear fogs, maybe one that is infront of the shifter, where all the empty lots go

there is a factory diagram for wiring rear fogs. I did it for my E34 and there's actually an indicator on the dash for rear fogs. (The euro versions almost all have them standard)

What I'd really like to do is wire a set of Hella's back there, just for those asswipes who like to drive around with their high beams on

Hmmm . . now where did I put the ones off my old Jeep?

Dudesky, you need to tint the rear window for the clowns with hi beams or head lamps aimed high. That or set up a switch to activate your brake lights for a "brake check".
Speaking of (not to hijack) coming from airport today I "brake checked" some bitch tailgaiting me while she was putting her make-up on. She then pulled up along side us giving me the finger and bitching - but she hadn't noticed the left side of her face was covered in smeared mascara - we just laughed and waved back at her. She looked like a pirate...
