what he said. and remember, mods often times dont add much to total value of a car. unless its F/I or a widebody or something extreme like that.

The bad part is that most sellers think they can get retail back out of their mods.

depending on miles and condition of the car is whats going to determine the price. some people who are selling these nice e36's w/ really low miles could care less what KBB or Edmonds says to sell it for...for retail pricing w/ 100% options for my car is around $16,000 im going to have it listed for more and see if anyone bites... later

Ditto that. I've seen 328s going for 15k in the local paper (Tampa, FL), mod free, esentially. While a tad high, I'm sure they sell.

I, personally like when people give specifi, explicit examples as an answer so here ya go..

My 1996 328i sedan with under 100k miles, loaded, was $8,500.00 with all service records and in pristine condition. This was purchased 7 months ago and I'm in the New England area.

Hope this helps.

Good call, Alpine.

My 1998 328i with under 80k miles was purchased about 2 months ago for a little over $10,000. It was purchased from a dealer, is fully loaded, and was also in excellent condition. . . . before that son of a beetch reversed into my front end! . . . I digress. . . I am in the Tampa Bay area. Normally, people ask for $12,500 in this area, without the sunroof.
