s50 cams should give you between 25-30 horses.. for a 325. So for a 2.8L the gains would probably be similar, using s52 cams, or somewhat better. Cams are by FAR the best bang for buck mod you can do to your car.

-control arms w. new bushing. hour
-LCAB + RTAB w. GC shims. maybe around an hour or 2
A diff shouldn't be a 6 hour install..

just got the car back this evening. all i can say is wow the car is so much faster than it used to be. also got a sach's racing clutch, 96+ m3 lca's, lcab's and rtab's, painted and installed my m3 bumper, m3 mirrors and m3 rear difuser. it drives like an entirely new car.

everything looks great except for the rear difuser which really does not fit all that well. it needed to be trimed so it would fit so there are holes on the side. it was not noticable to people that did not know how the difuser should fit but i can notice it. i think i might cover the holes with black electrical tape or something

the car has to go back to get an aliignment on thursday but other than that everything is great. its tempting to drive really fast but i know handling is compramised by the alignment being off.

does anybody know if there is any harm in not using the m3 strut hats with the m3 control arms and bushings?
