your current bumper comes with something similar to it but it's in 3 parts, they call them pork chops. It basicly protects your engine from road debris... I want one so that I would reduce the chance of hydrocloating my intake... And since my/our bumpers are getting here soon, I'll need one of those pretty soon too.

ok.... i kinda understand. But i take it its not something vital for the bumper is it? If theres a good enough reason ill consider getting one.

well... let's say that you'r driving in a road adn you drive over something and it get caught in fan..... that would stop those things... No, it's not vital, but it's not bad either ;) Main reason am getting it is so that less water would get around my intake in cold weather...
