I am contemplating some Blacked out kidneys on my car as well (looking for a cheap set to try it with), i'm not sure how it would look on the green, if your trim is black it might look good.

you know. . . . I was JUST about to ask a VERY similar question.

I have the same color w/the black trim. Was thinking about blacking out the entire whip. smoked corners, sides, tails, emblems, kidneys, numbers on back, with black rims (silver/chromed lip, of course).

OR. . . .

color match the moldings, leave the chrome kidneys, go with silver rims, clear corners, sides, and tails, and then try - TRY to get mirrored tint. If not, black tint (which might throw off the look).

I think I need to add more black to the interior, too. It has all different types of browns in there. I don't know. . . just doesn't gell very well, IMO. I'd like to swap out the rest of the brown dash with a black dash. Maybe add some more black on the doors. Maybe turn the center strip of the seat into black leather, instead of brown (though, don't know how that'll effect the heated seats).

i have boston green with painted mouldings. i prefer leaving the chrome grill because it's a staple of the bmw marque.

Yeah, I was looking at the car tonight and I think I'm going to leave the chrome pieces, color match the moldings, and go w/silver rims. still not sure if I want the clear, smoked, or stock corners, though. I don't think the black rims are going to look right on the green. you never know, though.

I think blackout grill and leaving the molding black looks best.

I think it really depends on the color of the car. the boston green isn't really an aggressive looking color. the blacked out would look nice, but I was concerned with the black rims. might not look right. those rims are more street looking. boston green isn't street at all. feelin me? I dunno. If somebody has pics of the green w/black rims for me to look at, that'd be good. . . . . i digress.

Rooz, how wide can you get them???
