Parts interchangeability
Within the e36 grouping, which models are the parts interchangeable for? Like, can a 328 take M3 parts? can a 318 take 328 parts. can a 318 take m3 parts, etc. How does that work?
On another note, will these fit a 328i:

I believe the roundels should all be approx the same size for the hood and trunk. I dont know what the centercap sizes are but I think they would probably work, dont hold me to that though. You might want to ask the seller for some more info, but the hood and trunk ones should work. |

All e36's have the same chassis, each model has its mechanical and cosmetic differences though.. that said, most parts are interchangable... just that most people dont put non-M parts on an M..

some of the m parts are included with the sports package, but to be on the safe side depending on what you are adding I would ask around first, there are much wiser people here who have tried much crazier things.
