E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
you will notice a definate difference in cornering stiffness with larger wheels. and as stated, 17s for go, 18s for show.
i have 18x8s and love em!
for sure! I'm rolling on Dinan ultralight forged 19" x 9"s front and 19" x 10"s in rear. Nice performance upgrade over my 18" sport package wheel set in terms of reducing car's tendency to understeer.
The 19"s fill up the wheel well area nicely, yet never worried about any rubbing -even with 5 passengers and full luggage in trunk. Thought about going 20's but too problematic.
