Different pedals for a 328i?
Anybody know if its possible to reduce the size of the gas pedal on a 328i? All the aftermarkets I've seen are just as big, it appears. The pedal is stinkin huge!

I am not too sure about there being smaller size gas pedals, I assumed that they would have to be the same size.

That's what I had noticed, too. Wasn't sure if there was a way around that, though. That's really the only beef I have w/the car, really, and it is pretty minor. Perhaps somebody can recommend a THINNER pedal, then? One that doesn't flare out towards the bottom?

I don't know if you have looked at any websites, but the pedal sets I have seen all do that.

I have a solution for ya: Get smaller feet.
I have size 13 shoes, so sometimes when i go from the brake to gas kinda fast ill clip the brake pedal, its really stupid and annoying. |
Yeah man, standing at 6'1 I have rather large feet, as well.
I guess perhaps a better question at this point would be: would a narrow pedal even be any better, really? |
dont put your whole foot on the pedal. Station your heel more towards the brake, and lean your foot to the right to step on the gas. This way it is easier to go to the brake, I too stand at 6' 1" and know how you feel

Cut the gas pedal?
Use your heel as a fulcrum point. This way you're using the small muscles in your lower leg instead of your thigh muscles when lifting your whole foot up. |
