Yes, you need four fronts. The offset on the rears is 27mm, which is not in the E36's range of 35mm - 45mm

those wheels will probably not fit your car if they were previously on an M3. As stated the offset is not correct. You need to get replicas in order for them to fit properly.

No, E46 non-M fit fine because the offset is different than the e46 M3 rear wheels.
